About the Mid-70’s to Early 80’s God moved among Christians across the Nation Nigeria, with a straight emphasis to abandon Christianity of rituals, prevalent then among believers and to “earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the Saints”-JUDE, V.3. This gave birth to a spiritual work, across the nation, but having a definite national expression by September 1989, when the 1st Holy Convocation took place. The 1989 convocation was so packed with Divine presence that it was clear the Lord had a great work to accomplish in and through those with a heart to hear, and readiness to surrender to His will for their lives and His Body.
The call of the Lord then also came with instructions to come out of denominations and organizations that no longer serve Divine interests, but working to chart its own course. Since 1989, the Holy Convocation has been an annual convention to look forward to, as God’s people from across the Nigerian states and outside the country gather to refresh themselves in the light of the present truth- 2 Peter 1:12. For the past 15 years and by the Lord’s prompting and effort, the work has had a missionary dimension to it, with brethren ministering the end time prophetic truths across the West African Countries, Europe and such places where there are open doors.
We operate with the Lord Himself as our leader and administered by a body of elders in each local expression.
Everyone conversant with the works of the Holy Spirit at this time closing the days of the Church Age, knows there is an assembling together of a people in the Church of Jesus Christ, for a purpose. The assembling has nothing to do with Tribe, Age, Education etc. Rather, it has everything to do with the disposition of the hearts towards God. There is an inspection of hearts, already going on in the Church of Jesus Christ; hence, the Spirit echoes again: “…He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. …”

As this heart inspection goes on, a great ‘Work of Harvest’ is going on. A harvest of hearts that seek the Father’s will on the Earth.
God is obviously speaking to individuals within His Church, and those with ears to hear, and hearts to listen are hearing a note, different from what the generality of Christians are hearing.
“…I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
“…Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. …”
“…Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. …”
Luke 17:35-37 (in Context) Luke 17 (Whole Chapter)The above clearly reveals a time in the Church when some shall be called from their labours; and labours for men, by reason of a ‘Selective Process’. This process shall be by the individual’s heart condition and attitude to the Lord’s ‘Voice of Prophecy’ at this closing days of the Church Age.
“…And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the ‘body’ is, thither will the ‘eagles’ be gathered together. …”

The word ‘Body’ is taken from the Greek word ‘Soma’, meaning: ‘A sound or whole body’.
The Lord is calling those, whose hearts He is harvesting, away from unwholesome and unsound bodies; typified by places of worship which have lost touch with the work of the Holy Spirit and no longer serve His interests.
These, whom the Lord gathers unto Himself are enjoined to “…exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. …” Hebrews 3:12-14 (in Context) Hebrews 3 (Whole Chapter)
In Malachi 3:16, we read: “…Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. …” Malachi 3:15-17 (in Context) Malachi 3 (Whole Chapter)
There are various levels of meeting together, to Exhort (i. e. Charge and Provoke in the right direction) and speak to one another, as those whose hearts are apprehended for a similar cause: Local, Regional, National etc. depending on the leading and emphasis of the Holy Spirit.
Since 1989, the Lord God by His mercies caused the ‘Work of the Harvest’ of men’s hearts within the Church of Jesus Christ for the Endtime expression to have a Public and National expression here in Nigeria, West Africa.
There has been a yearly Holy Convocation; where a FORUM is provided for these people to gather together, for the purposes of:
Examining one another in the light of the work of God in the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days.
Provoking one another to continue in the light received.
Empowering one another in God’s presence through divers ministration, coming from plural and anointed ministries in the Church.
This website will serve God’s purpose in these directions and many more as led strictly by the Holy Spirit.
